Port Baggage Attendants Tip

This is probably a silly questions but thought I would ask it anyways.

 

I am sailing on the Radiance of the Seas out of Vancouver.

 

I usually tip the people who take my bags when I get to the port.

 

I should tip in Canadian because they most likely live in the Vancouver area? Or should I tip in US?

Either/or....they will take whatever you hand them. Since they aren't ship employees, but dock workers, I'd go with local currency.

But either way, whatever type you have will be glady accepted.

I don't think it would matter that much either way. The shops in any Canadian city I've visited which was that close to the US border would happily accept either.

You can tip in either CDN or USD. Both are accepted by most people in Canada.

They will happily accept any tip. However, they would be happier to receive a tip in Canadian currency. :)
