Cheers Dave Maybe jump on the Cruise Critic roll call for that ship and your sailing date for response of others who are taking that cruise. You can also go to the cruise line's web site - the information regarding ship age and refurbishments, etc., is usually posted under the specific ship's info. Or you could call them and ask. Surely they will respond with how wonderful the ship is, etc., but they also can confirm the age and refit info you are asking. If you are uncertain you can also check other cruise lines, itineraries, and ships to compare similar cruises and then do the same CC roll call scans, etc., to get comparative information. Enjoy your cruise whatever you decide - I am sure you will be hooked after that!
Rare Essiesmom Posted September 26, 2012 #3 Share Posted September 26, 2012 Welcome to Cruise Critic. there are boards here for all of the major (and some minor) cruise lines. You might want to ask your question about Island Princess on the Princess board, under Cruise Lines P-Z. EM
cb at sea Posted September 26, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 26, 2012 Even "old" ships are kept in pretty good shape! No worries on that! A ship is such a HUGE investment, they take care of them!
Krazy Kruizers Posted September 26, 2012 #5 Share Posted September 26, 2012 Welcome to Cruise Critic. You should ask questions about the Island Princess on that board here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
Rare TracieABD Posted September 26, 2012 #6 Share Posted September 26, 2012 Check on the Princess Boards. Also, if you know the specific cruise you are looking at, you can go on that cruise's Roll Call.:) Welcome aboard!
