kitty9 Posted May 16, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 16, 2004 You're in the middle of hurricane season and it seems that the Bahamas have been hit quite a bit in the last few years by tropical storms. It can be hot and humid with the possiblility of afternoon showers in July and August. Darcie
JanetMarie Posted May 16, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 16, 2004 TOOOOOO hot for DH and I. We travel quite a bit, several time throughout the year, and there is NO WAY that we would travel to the Bahamas in July. But have a wonderful time, at any rate. imsulin Posted May 16, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 16, 2004 Think very HOT and very HUMID. There's also a strong chance of rain, and as Darcie pointed out, it is during hurricane season. Last year, Hurricane Claudette interrupted some Western Caribbean cruises in July.

andychris Posted May 17, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 17, 2004 Now you are all making me nervous. We are booked on the miracle fron nyc to bahamas 8/7. I thought that the hurrican season was bad at the end of august. I do not care if it is hot and humid, as long as the boat isn't rocking around to much!!
