trub Posted January 15, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 15, 2013 had the pleasure of cruising on noordam and am looking to booking for eurodam this year - it looks a different type of ship will it have the same feel as noordam, thanks in advance for any opinons:)
Krazy Kruizers Posted January 15, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 15, 2013 Eurodam is a little different. The Explorations Cafe, Internet and Library is located on the starboard side of the Crow's Nest. The Eurodam also has the Silk Den for cocktails and the Tamarind Restaurant for lunch and dinner. Lunch is $10 per person -- set menu -- can not be booked until you are on the ship. Dinner is $15 per person and can be booked either online at HAL or once you get on the ship. So the only other thing that would be different would be the shop configuration due to the Explorations Cafe being up in the Crow's Nest.
trub Posted January 15, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted January 15, 2013 thanks for your prompt reply - sounds like it will seem pretty much the same and be great
mamaofami Posted January 15, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 15, 2013 Eurodam has cabanas around the Lido pool and I don't believe that Noordam has added that. At least, not when I was on board.
Krazy Kruizers Posted January 15, 2013 #5 Share Posted January 15, 2013 Right -- I knew I forgot something. There are Lido Cabanas and Retreat Cabanas up on the Observation Deck along with cabins and the Crows Nest. Right below the Observation Deck is a new deck with more cabins -- Panaroma Deck. Typhoon1 Posted January 16, 2013 #6 Share Posted January 16, 2013 You'll be very pleased with Eurodam. We've sailed both Signatures, it has more options to offer such as Tamarind. You also have the Lido and Retreat Cabanas. It's all about offering the cruiser more choice.
