Johnny fish Posted January 23, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2013 First time cruiser :: it will be me and my dw. We r 55 and 58 . 7day carnival glory out of Miami in jan 2014. Or 5 day carnival paradise out of Tampa jan 2014 . Just worried. Being a first timer that 7 days would be to long for the first time . Any feed back would be great
Sandi3667 Posted January 23, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2013 We did a 7-day Alaska cruise, and it was too short. For our Caribbean cruise, we have set a 10-day minimum.

Krazy Kruizers Posted January 23, 2013 #5 Share Posted January 23, 2013 Of the 2 choices -- 7 days. The time just flys by too quickly on shorter cruises. You don't even get a chance to see everything on a ship on a short cruise.
Sheffie Posted January 23, 2013 #6 Share Posted January 23, 2013 7 days is our minimum cruise length. Shorter would not give us enough time to relax.

zookiebird Posted January 24, 2013 #8 Share Posted January 24, 2013 7 days is a minimum for us. Can't imagine taking a 5 day. They'd have to drag me off the ship.
Colorado Kat Posted January 25, 2013 #9 Share Posted January 25, 2013 Give the 7 day a try. The time will fly by.
