sugarsnap1981 Posted January 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2013 Hi All, Are the Princess cruise deposits 100% refundable? My husband is worried that we are front loading our sabbatical and is weary about pulling the trigger and putting the deposit down... :( Any insights? Thanks! robtulipe Posted January 25, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2013 Yes , they are in NA if canceled by the final payment date, but occasionally Princess does have specials that are non-refundable but I believe these are usually sell off prices after the final payment date for that cruise.. caribill Posted January 25, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 25, 2013 When booking, just be sure that you are not booking a special where the deposits are not refundable. Many special sales long before final payment come with a non-refundable deposit feature. Also, if you are booking with a Travel Agent, make sure there is not a cancellation fee from the travel agent. If there is, pick another agency.
MCC retired Posted January 25, 2013 #5 Share Posted January 25, 2013 The Princess Sales that seem to occur every few weeks often specify Non-refundable deposits in the fine print. If that scares you , book at the best refundable rate code available to you , for your sailing. Your TA familiar with Princess ,can explain . FLASH rates for bookings (may appear after Final ), are full payment , non-refundable .
Astro Flyer Posted January 25, 2013 #6 Share Posted January 25, 2013 As already said sale promotions come with the NR-NT deposit & not just the last-minute specials. For those of us with a $100 FCC deposit losing the deposit isn't as big of a consideration as those making a full deposit
