But, not as CD. He's just visiting the ship. Had dinner with him last night and he is doing well. Misses the on board experience, but enjoys what he's doing at Miami HQ. Many would like to see him return to ships.

Dru was a great CD - he was on one of our first Celebrity cruises - either the Mercury or Connie. Can't recall which one.

Dru was the friendliest most genuine cruise director I have met on Celebrity, a real star.

After years and years of, in the main, very 'lack lustre', C.D's on P&O, Dru was our CD on our very first Celebrity cruise on Eclipse in Oct 2011. So smart, funny and professional - no comparison really!

 

We are about to do our 4th Celebrity cruise at the end of next month, and are now totally converted :)

Was his lovely wife, Melanie, with him by chance? She did a fantastic job for Celebrity as well in Future Sales. I'm wondering if she is still with Celebrity.
