NOLA Taxi or Limo - airport to the Quarter???

Cost of taxi from MSY to French Quarter for 3 people? I did a search and got a couple of different responses, thinking some may not be current.

 

Found a town car for 3 at about $70? $140 RT, thinking a taxi is probably the way to go!!

 

The more I save on transport the more I can spend to eat our way through NOLA!!!!

Cabs are a flat fee which (and don't quote me) I think is currently around $35.

Flat rate is about $35 for two. Extra person will add a bit to that.

We just were there it is a flat fee of $33 for first 2 pax

 

3 or more pax it is $14 each pax

 

SO for your 3 it would be $42

That's why I heged my bets and said "around $35". I figured that to be $2 off wouldn't hurt anyone, especially if it happened to be cheaper.
