Last minute doubt - just a passport?

Hi,

 

My husband and I are sailing on the Oasis this Saturday with our 4 year old daughter. Our daughter has a passport - that's all she needs, right? I keep hearing "always travel with a birth certificate" in my head, and I guess I could find one to bring... just looking for confirmation either way so I know what to expect. The agent at RCCL didn't have my confidence in check when she said "that should be fine."

Does the child have the same last name as both you and your husband? If she does, then you are all set. if she doesn't, you need a birth certificate too as a linking document to prove she belongs to both of you. The information can be found in this link.
