JillianinMN Posted May 9, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 9, 2013 Hi, My husband and I are sailing on the Oasis this Saturday with our 4 year old daughter. Our daughter has a passport - that's all she needs, right? I keep hearing "always travel with a birth certificate" in my head, and I guess I could find one to bring... just looking for confirmation either way so I know what to expect. The agent at RCCL didn't have my confidence in check when she said "that should be fine." Thanks!

If she does, then you are all set. if she doesn't, you need a birth certificate too as a linking document to prove she belongs to both of you. The information can be found in this link. Click on the part that says family legal documents and it will explain the linking document. http://www.royalcaribbean.com/beforeyouboard/travelDocumentation.do
