Prepaid Tips

Recommended Posts

Prepaid tips cover everything except room service. When you order something from a bar (alcohol, soft drinks) a 15% gratuity is automatically added to the bill. Room service is NOT covered by the pre-paid tips, so if you use room service you will need to tip for that separately. It's strictly a personal choice if you want to give an extra tip (at the end of your cruise) to your cabin steward, your dining room waiter, or anyone else that you feel has gone above and beyond their normal duties to make your cruise experience memorable and enjoyable.

Nothing if you don't want to. The prepay includes all tips except when you buy drinks. For which there is usually a 15% service charge added. Sometime tax is also added depending on where in the world the ship is.

If you particularly like a device you can tip someone more such as your waiter or steward.
