1am curfew or kids

Does anyone know if kids, and I mean teenagers are able to be out and about with a parent after the 1am curfew. We are a family of night owls and like to spend time in the atrium, and other venues. We of course would be with them.

I can't imagine anyone would give a second thought to your teenagers at any time of the day or night if you are all together.

Yes, of course. The curfew is if they are out on their own.

I'd love to see someone approach a family and tell the parents, oh...your kids have to go to bed -

and ya thought the wrath of a chair-hog was bad ;)

They don't have to go to bed, they just can't be out on their own. :)

It's not heavily enforced. I caught my son out after curfew one night when he came into the room at 2am to use the bathroom (we were asleep), and I noticed he had 5-6 friends waiting in the hall. Needless to say his night was over at that point, and he was "grounded" for the following day (had to stay with us) as punishment

An observation: on our recent Dawn cruise, we were in pub around 10 p.m., when a child about 12 was "returned" by a security officer to an adult in the pub. I was too far away to hear anything that was said (and let's hope I wouldn't have eavesdropped in any case.... !!!).

So, my inference from that is, curfew or not, security is paying attention to unescorted teens, no matter the time of day.

HOWEVER, that's just an anecdote - if the kids are with their parents, I am sure the time of day doesn't matter... but I find it reassuring to know that curfews and security are out there to make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable cruise.

He must of been hanging with my teenager son and his group of cousins and friends..Lol My son said they were really nice in O'Sheehans to them the kids were hungry and they were able to have fries and wings late night. Purchase the $7.95 calling and tx plan for the week its so worth it to keep in touch at all times!!!
