As a result of the U.S. Department of State Travel Warning to defer all non-essential travel to Egypt due to continuing uncertainties regarding the restructuring of government institutions, Holland America Line has replaced calls in Egypt on several upcoming sailings. Affected travel agents and guests are being notified. The resulting itinerary revisions are: 11-day ms Noordam itineraries departing on August 15 (Piraeus, Greece) and August 26 (Istanbul, Turkey) Port Said and Alexandria, Egypt, will be replaced by Ashdod (Jerusalem) and Haifa (Tel Aviv, Nazareth), Israel. 11-day ms Noordam itinerary departing on October 20 (Piraeus, Greece) Port Said and Alexandria, Egypt, will be replaced by Haifa (Tel Aviv, Nazareth), Israel, and Limassol, Cyprus. 10-day ms Rotterdam itinerary departing on October 31 (Piraeus, Greece) and November 20 (Piraeus, Greece) Port Said and Alexandria, Egypt, will be replaced by Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey and Limassol, Cyprus. 14-day ms Prinsendam itinerary departing on October 28 (Piraeus, Greece) Port Said and Alexandria, Egypt, will be replaced by Rhodes, Greece, and Katakolon (Olympia), Greece. On her current voyage, NODM left Piraeus, Greece on THU 15 AUG, then visited: Rhodes, Greece on FRI 16 AUG 13 Ashdod, Israel on SUN 18 AUG 13 Haifa, Israel on MON 19 AUG 13 (today;)) She's now headed for Iraklion, Crete with an ETA on WED, 21 AUG Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
