Thank you for the awesome review! We can't wait to give this ship a try over Christmas. One question i have is, did the casino slot machines dispense coins, or have the machines changed over to the ticket method? I couldn't tell from the picture if these are the older machines, or not. Thanks!

They are ticket method.

Absolutely GREAT to see a review with so many awesome pictures!

We were on Enchantment in 2000, pre-stretch / remodel (which eliminated the cabin we had), and loved her then.

We are now trying to decide between Enchantment and Majesty for our next trip sometime late winter.

We were on the Enchantment last December right after her refurbishment! Beautiful ship and great crew. Thank you!

Thanks Guys! I loved the Enchantment and can't wait to cruise on her again someday.

Really enjoyed the photo's and reviews. I was wondering though. You didn't mention going to the Concierge lounge. Did you check it out? I just booked a cruise at the end of October on the Enchantment in a Grand Suite. I am looking forward to the Concierge lounge :) Also ~ Is the room service menu the same? I believe the guy that made the booking said something about an enhanced room service menu? Or maybe he was talking about appetizers at night in the lounge? My husband enjoys beer and I enjoy wine so I am sure we will visit each evening before dinner! Did you happen to notice if it was crazy busy for the open seating times? I'm opting for a 5:45 dining time however they said I'll have to be waitlisted for that...

I did not go to the concierge lounge on this ship. It wasn't located on the same floor as the suites and just wasn't convenient for anything we needed this sailing. I never visited it, even tho I meant to even if it was for research purposes.

The room menu is enhanced. You will have a suite breakfast menu available in your room, and you will be able to order off of the MDR menu for breakfst and lunch. But only during the hours the MDR is actually opened.

I had 8:30 dinner seating. The MDR was full at that time but I never had a chance to see what the dining room looked like at the early seating.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for posting this review. I thoroughly enjoyed sharing your vacation with you. We just booked the Enchantment last night for this coming February. So this was my first review and it was awesome.

I have one question. We're travelling with a party of 6 also. In Coco Cay, when you rented the Cabana, were all 6 of you able to eat at the Cabana buffet that was separate from the main buffet? And are they ok with 6 people at once being at the Cabana? Thanks for any help you can give on this one. I really appreciate it.

If you rent a cabana at Coco Cay, you are entitled to have 6 people in the cabana, and all 6 get to have the special cabana lunch.

We had 6 at our cabana on the cruise of 9/20/13. They give you 4 big bottles of water no matter how many people you have, the chilled champagne & a fruit plate. Don't get your hopes too high about the buffet. Its no great shakes but at least you won't have to deal with the hungry masses. There are a few picnic tables with umbrellas right next to the U shaped buffet. Hamburgers, hot dogs, ribs, seafood caboobs, small corn, maybe salad. Nothing to write home about. You can have 2 floats but really can drag more than that out if you don't all go together. The closest water is at the crescent beach with the zillion chairs & people. My husband & I prefer to walk down to the less crowded area we go by ourselves but on this cruise the 6 of us girls felt very special with a Cabana. The seating & loungers there are very comfortable too. Also a couple of cats prowl the area which I thought was wonderful.

Thanks for the info. I'm still torn on the Cabana. I don't really like the idea of being too far away from the water and it being super crowded. We've been to Coco Cay a couple of times before and enjoyed the time that we walked further down and it was less crowded. We had a Cabana booked at Half Moon Cay last January and our ports on the Carnival ship got switched due to propulsion problems and we didn't get to stop at Half Moon Cay and enjoy our Cabana. So I'm still kind of itching for a Cabana. Decisions, decisions.

The cabana has a beautiful view of the water & ship but you just have a bit of a hike to get into the actual water. If you have 6 people kicking into the $200 its well worth it but as I said I will rethink it if I just go with my husband. Just like sitting with the captain & going to a specialty restaurant....it great, once.

I agree. I loved the Cabana when I had my whole family. DH and I will be back at Coco Cay in March and will not rent one just for the two of us. We are even thinking about just staying on the ship and enjoying it being empty since we were just there.

Thanks so much for your pictorial review. We are booked for a grand suite on the same cruise with two college age kids in June and this was extremely helpful. Plus, the photos are beautiful. Thanks for taking the time.

Thanks. You will love the space the Grand Suite will give you compared to the smaller cabins. Have fun..We loved the Enchantment!

Wow! We are taking our kids on their first cruise (the week before they turn 2 & 4) on the Enchantment in September and my son LOVES to look at the pictures of the ship. I have sailed her with some girlfriends in the past and can't wait to get back on board!
