Ice Machines on Victory

Hello everyone,

 

This may seem like a silly question but I am going to ask anyways. Does anyone know if there are ice machines available near cabins on all the decks on board the Carnival Victory?

I have never seen any ice machines,

on our last few cruises, the room steward came around with a big ice chest to fill up the ice buckets and any small coolers we had in the room.

Ice machines for the cabins are in a "crew only" area.

But OP - if you ask they will get it for you anytime. If you need more than what your ice bucket holds they will bring you a bigger bucket or a second regular bucket.

I was just on the Victory. We asked our steward if we could get our own ice the first day (he was really busy), but the ice machines are for crew only.

After waiting too long for ice on the 1st day at sea, I went and helped myself.:cool:

We always bring a small cooler and our steward keeps it full of fresh ice. Check Carnivals size limit on coolers. I think it's 12x12.

If you take a collapsable cooler the steward will keep it filled with ice to last all day. Keep it on the bathroom floor as they condense or leak. You will have to ask for ice now when you first find the steward--no longer automatically put in the cabin for some idiotic reason.

I usually just find the room with the machine and get it myself.

Waste of fresh water and I'm sure some idiots were doing some not so nice things with the ice buckets. Also one less thing for the RS's to clean every day.

If I need ice and I can't find my steward I simply go to the nearest bar and they have always given me a bucket of ice without hesitation.

We were on the Victory in April and our steward kept our ice buckets filled up with ice on a constant basis. My steward was like a ninja!!! Don't know when he was in there to do it, but it was always nice fresh ice cubes!
