HAL Wine Policy

I am not a fan of the new HAL program but HAL will not prevent a passenger from bringing wine back to the ship. HAL will store the wine and return it on the last night.

I assume that your reply was being sarcastic. If not, what do you do on the lst night - finish the bottle in 1 night or put it in your luggage and hope that you are not over your weight limit and that the bottle does not break.

This was in response to the OP saying that HA would prohibit a person from bringing back a bottle to the ship. FYI if you had read some of my other posts on this subject (I know some people have a life):). I have brought back many bottles of wine from Europe and I have never lost one bottle. I also use my frequent flyers mileage to fly business not so much for the additional baggage allowance but that I'm a big and hungry person.

Don't count on it. My reply came from her a long time ago and I have heard nothing since and doubt that I will:rolleyes:

Agreed. My three letters generated one response from Ms Ferris (the form letter) in the first month the policy was posted. Have heard nothing since from anyone at HAL.

All the comments after Julie's post have been posted. I'm glad they did not give her the last word.

That's nice to see indeed. Glad to see the posts stood. Maybe someone will read and take notice ? If nothing else - others reviewing the blog will at least be made aware that the policy has changed if they didn't know ;)
