I tried using the search feature to look up post about Miracle but it kept saying no results.......UGH.

I just want to know if anyone had been on this ship recently and how you liked it? Maybe have pics to share or a link to your review. I want to sail the mexico cruise in march.

Thank you so much.

I didn't do a review but my husband and I were on the Miracle in October and we loved it. We came home and immediately booked the same cruise for the same week next year and even the same 7A cabin. That said, the only places on the ship we actually spent time at was the Serenity deck/bar, casino, dining room and lido buffet. I never ventured to the main lido pool or the theater or any of the other bars. For me, the Serenity was amazing...my favorite so far. I don't cruise with small children of my own and prefer adult areas (thus Serenity & the casino).

I have not been on the Miracle yet, going in March myself. I have been to Mexico in March and the weather is perfect in Cabo and Puerto Vallarta. About 80 degrees without the humidity you get in Fall that makes it a hot sweaty trip.

My wife and I were on the Miracle for two cruises. The Hawaii and then the Mexican Riviera. The boat was great!! Best laid out design of any boat we have been on. Very easy to get around. But a bit of a warning! They make really good pizza on the lido deck!! Our cabin was right behind the aft elevator and all I had to do was jump on the elevator and go up two floors and the pizza was right there!!! Bad news!! Next thing I know two pizzas and two beers went back down to the room! If you go to YTD tell Robert (Best waiter!!) Dave And Edie said hi!

Just an FYI, don't use the large "search cruise critic" box at the top when looking for things in the forums. That searches the main site but not the forums. Instead, go to the forum you want to search (IE: Carnival) and then use the "search this forum" tab about half way down the page and located just below page numbers on the right side. Two searching tips: If looking for specific items like a 6 day menu or CD John Heald, then click on the "show posts" bullet and a list of posts with that in the body will come up. If looking for things that may come up in a thread title, such as: miracle review, then click on the "show threads" bullet.

The key is searching in the forum itself and not using the generic search cruise critic box.

That out of the way, I was on the miracle last March when it repositioned from New York to Long Beach through the Panama Canal. LOVED IT!!! Since then I was on it in October and again just last week. Spirit class is my favorite class of ship, and the Miracle doesn't disappoint. As a previous poster said, the NY style pizza is the best I have had on any Carnival ship. I like Dr. Frankenstein's lab (the nightclub), serenity deck, pizza, and the shrimp salad sandwich from room service.

Sailing on her again in April for the reposition to Alaska via Hawaii. Already looking forward to it. :)

Thanks for all the feedback. I am looking forward to this cruise. Oh and I didn't use the big search box but the forum one, tried several different things..........hmmmm. I am sure its user error

Did any of you use the internet while on board? How was it? Used to be I wouldn't care about such things but I have been doing sweepstakes for 3 years and win alot of stuff, so I need to be able to check emails ( for wins) and keep up with any new ones coming out so that I don't have to go through tons and tons of stuff when I get back.

My wife and I were on the Miracle in early Nov and had a great time. We thought the Steakhouse was best ever and like others loved the pizza. We are sailing her again in Jan 2014.

Enjoy your cruise.

PS Do not miss fly on singer Ned Rifken's show--it is just excellent.

We sailed her in October for 15 days. I loved the ship. We had great service. I did a mini review of sorts about the ship and the cruise--just thoughts actually.

As far as the bed. I thought it was fine and we have a tempur pedic at home so believe me I notice the little things with other mattresses. Could I say I would swap the mattress for mine at home--of course not--but this very poor sleeper could sleep on the Miracle.

A few things I did not love but on the whole a great ship and cruise.

Thank you n6uggg. all good links.I noticed in my ramblings much was said about ports not so much about ship. I did a review type thing in another site that asked me to write about our trip and see that it is where I posted a lot about the ship. The site is not available ot general public tho.

The Miracle is a great ship as far as I am concerned. Easy to get around, great staff and well maintained as they were repairing the deck the entire time we were on her. The serenity deck is the "bomb"! I love the papasan chairs that are gigantic.

I was just on the Miracle last week and it is a very nice ship.

I was a little suprised about how dressed up people got for the dining room.

The ship was clean and well laid out.

My wife was a little bored because she likes movies as entertainmet.

I would book it again, but I do not agree about the pizza being good. Soggy does not equal good.

I'd like to do a repo cruise on the Miracle.

Loved the ship, hated the bed--to the point of not booking another cruise until beds are changed out. Fortunately the serenity deck was quiet & we caught up on our sleep during the day.

We were on her in September and loved the entire cruise ... oh yeah .. the &^&%$ bed ..the first night I woke up at 3 with my back in spasms ... Hubby took the reclining lounge chair from the balcony and that is what I slept on for 2 nights. They do not have the extra padding like other lines .. and this was a 15 night cruise lol .. I had to medicate every night to sleep. We travel often and sleep in many different hotels ...and this was our 11 cruise so I did not even think about the bed ...but it was horrible. Have never had this kind of problem before ...we are on the conquest for a b2b in Feb. Have my heating pad packed already.

Wow, is it that hard? Yikes.

Is it harder than your $1,500 sleep number bed at home? Yes. But I'm a 300 lb. guy who slept like a baby on all 3 of my Miracle cruises this year. Some caveats: If you are a propped up sleeper with several pillows under your head and neck, you will likely be uncomfortable. Uneven weight distribution makes the lack of box spring more noticeable. It may also be problematic for stomach sleepers.

I think it is just a matter of rolling the dice. There are thousands of beds and thousands of backs on the ship at any given time. There are bound to be some backs that don't mesh well with some beds. Doesn't mean that all the beds will be that way. There are also bound to be some backs that mesh very well with other beds. You really won't know until you, a) try the beds, and b) try other beds.

Either way, if you are not comfortable, ask your cabin steward for an egg crate foam top. They will add one to your bed. I've never needed one, so cannot speak to their comfort. Others, in the forum, have said that they liked it.

Hi Martin, long time no see... :-)

Sorry to hear that your pizza was soggy. Mine (25+ since I had pizza every night after closing the nightclub on my 3 Miracle cruises) have all had a really nice crispy crust. They were very cheezy (tho that is certainly the point for me as I always order the Quattro Fromaggi :)), but never soggy. Bummer.

I'd like to do a repo cruise on the Miracle.

We are on the April 12, 2014 reposition to Vancouver via Hawaii. We LOVED the repo from NY to Long Beach. But then again, I really like days at sea. So relaxing.

It was good to meet you at the M&G and hope to see you again one of these days.
