I for one am enjoying the comments so far. Wife and I planning on 9 night southern caribbean in Jan 2015. The four other cruises we have taken have all been on Freedom class. It looks like Explorer is very close in size.

I've been on Explorer once almost exactly a year ago. I will be cruising on her twice this year. I will be on the repositioning cruise on Nov 1 from Bayonne NJ to Port Canaveral. A nice ship!

This October will be or 5th year in a row on Explorer. It will be her last roundtrip out of Bayonne & she will be sorely missed. We LOVE her & her crew & that size ship. We LOVE that she sailed just to Bermuda when we sailed on her so we would have more time to visit the island. No ship will be doing that itinerary in late October anymore after she leaves. :( this next trip will be 9 nts, but only one day in Bermuda. :( are you listening RCCL? Please bring us a similar sized ship that can dock in Kings wharf & take over Explorer's itineraries... better yet, bring back Explorer after her facelift!!! There's an idea! Bayonne can handle more than one ship. I was excited about Quantum til I saw how big it's going to be & how expensive it is. More than double the cost for a D1 cabin than Explorer. You lost us. :/

Sorry, I don't. We have many pics from our stays in 1388 + a few from when SIL stayed in 1688, & we've had other family stay in 1374 + 1376 (which should be similar to yours, as well as family in 1390. (Also D1s, but no photos of those) We really like aft balconies, and particularly corner aft balconies on deck 10. ;)

What's different about an aft balcony on deck ten than any other floor? This is my first balcony room so idk anything about it

Deck 10 is the highest stateroom deck, so no one is looking down on your balcony.
