2 for 1 drinks and drinks of the day

We are sailing next week on the Adventure of the Seas out of San Juan.

 

I have read that there are establishments that have 2for 1 drinks at certain times of the day and also a place that posts "drink of the day" outside of their bar.

 

Would anyone be able to tell me the names of the bars/restaurants etc. ???

Not sure about 2 for 1 drinks, but the drink of the day is always published in the Cruise Compass and mentioned in the CD's morning show.

2 for 1 drinks should be part of your package depending on your C & A status, (gold, platinum etc). They should be loaded on your sea pass card.:D

You will receive a letter in your stateroom with a list of coupons loaded. You can also ask any bartender to print your available coupons.

I believe that there will be a list in your stateroom. I will see for sure later this month when I cruise on EOS. :D It was posted somewhere but since there is no search function it would be difficult to find.:(

Each C&A member has his/her own offers. So, for example, if you are married and you are diamond, both husband and wife will have the diamond "coupons" embedded in his/her SeaPass card.

It is on the back of the Welcome Aboard letter. Turn it over. Some people have complained that they didn't get a list.......but never realized that it was on the BACK of something else. ;)

The 2-for-1 (aka BOGO) offer is for wine, beer, or soda. I don't think you can use it for mixed drinks like the Drink of the Day.

Sailed on Jewel of the Seas in November and on at least half of the days there was a buy 1 get 1 drink in a couple of the bars, around 4-5 p.m. I would drink one at that time and keep the other for later. :D

Check the daily compass. Nothing on the first day.

On the explorer there was a 50% off only cocktails drink special from 3-5 on cococay day. Vodka tonic and bourbon and coke would NOT count. I had a long island and my mrs had a couple cosmos. 3.75 for a long island was quite a steal. Only day it ran.

We were on the Liberty for the Super Bowl. I looked at the 3 Cruise Compasses that I saved, and did not see any BOGO. The offers I can see were Buy One, Get One 50% off from 11pm to Midnight at the Casino Bar, and other deals were 20% off at different locations and times. We did use our Platinum benefit of BOGO wine or beer.

 

I guess it depends on the ship and dates sailed.

Probably is also at the discretion of the F&B manager based on liquor sales on the itinerary so far.

Thanks for this my last cruise was still using the coupon book. They had not fully changed over back then.

Since the drink specials are so variable, i suspect if the line is not meeting there weekly quota for their drink target they might run the specials to drum up business in the slowest times.

We were on Freedom in Oct/13 and had 2for1drinks at the casino bar at 5 -6 o'clock (I think) and also the On Air had 2for1Margaritas some days. Pays to check the compass

Same last month on Freedom. We never checked out the margarita special, but word to the wise, the casino was absolutely packed during 2 for 1. We had the package, but our friends traveling with us didn't. They opted to pay full price upstairs after the first day.

On the Grandeur last October, they had buy one get one free (actually they charged 50%) on any drink in every bar from 3pm-5pm every day - great deal!
