Emerald Left Princess Cays Already??

I checked the web cam about an hour ago and they had a gorgeous sunny day at Princess Cays. this is where they are supposed to be today. I just looked again and now they are sailing to Port Everglades.

I wonder what happened??? My parents are on that ship. Hopefully I hear from them.

We are on the Emerald right now. Too much wind for the tenders to operate safely so the Captain aborted the day at Princess cays. We are indeed on the way back to FLL.

My parents are onboard and told me the seas and winds are too rough for tender operations. Otherwise the ship and cruise have been wonderful! I can't wait to talk with them tomorrow and see their pics!

I was about to have a panic attack. We are sailing the Emerald in less than 2 weeks. Nervous the ship was broken...happened to us 10 days before our last Princess cruise on the CB 2 years ago....:(

 

(and of couse that there's no medical problems on board and everyone is safe as well)

Glad to see the captain keeping his passengers safe. Sorry they missed the last day of sun and fun! The CD will print a new patter and they will have lots of fun things planned to do onboard today!

I heard from my parents, it was because it was too rough to tender. It sure didn't look like that on the web cam!
