What is your budget per person? Dinner on South Beach can easily run $200 per person.

There are so many restaurants. Do you want to eat casually outdoors or overlooking a pool area or are you looking for white linen dining?

If you like Ruth Chris Steakhouse, then Smith & Wollensky could be your fine dining.

 

For more casual try The Clevelander and Big Pink.

 

Was in SOBE not cruise related a few years ago on a weeks vacation. Me and the wife found ourselves at The Clevelander daily and Big Pink late night.

Went to the 11th st. Diner that was shown on Diners,drive-in, and dives. The food was very good and reasonably priced.

I like Yardbird but as a southerner, I have a hard time paying those prices for chicken and biscuits. Do you think it has fallen off since Jeff McInnes left?

I like Yardbird but as a southerner, I have a hard time paying those prices for chicken and biscuits. Do you think it has fallen off since Jeff McInnes left?

 

Well, I shared the catfish and the ribs with my visiting son-in-law a month ago. They weren't cheap but they were good. Two nights later I spent $250 for four at Sushi Samba, so I guess it's relative.

I love the 11st Diner- corner of 11th & Washington- it was featured on the popular Diners, Drive-ins & Dives program with Guy Fieri on Food Network (can be crowed & slower service late night though).

 

***Just remember that the tip is ALWAYS included in the bill in South Beach, so unless you get above and beyond service- no need to add anything else on -your waiter/waitress have been taken care of.
