$10 Charge for Character Dining?

Thanks for the suggestion. I did call and was able to book. I was charged the $10pp over the age of 5 and they said there would be onboard credit for the full amount on our account. I imagine they just don't want the hassle of recoding things for 16 weeks of sailings, so this is reasonable.

 

But the $10 per person refund is not stated in writing anywhere. I asked them does the restaurant know this? What about Guest Services ON BOARD? Their response was "they SHOULD be aware". That's not enough of a guarantee I'll get my $$ back.

They just fixed it! :)

 

I was able to book the character breakfast online at NO CHARGE!!

Can anyone provides an update as to whether they have revised their policy, or grandfathered to those who booked prior to the $10 charge?

I was able to call RCCL earlier in the week and the rep booked reservations for my December sailing by phone. No charge.
