You said after 11 everything is quiet lol. After 11 is when things are just getting fun lol. That's when the kids and the oldies go to bed lol.

Not true. I said NCL isn't fall all over yourself-messy-drunk the way some carnival ships are! But no worries. Escape will be fun no matter what!

Well it doesn't have to be wild and crazy for us, but a fun atmosphere is really what we enjoy. Good music, and positive vibe.

As a single guy I like wild and crazy lol but I hope you have fun as well.

I didn't see the rock wall mentioned either. And my son is looking forward to that so I hope it has one

Maybe the ropes course is taking the place of the rock wall

Just booked our November 21st, 2015 Thanksgiving Cruise, and I noticed that there are no excursions for Tortola available. Just an oversight? Anyone have any thoughts on the best one's to book? Thanks

We just booked the same one and I had the same question. There are excursions listed for Nassau, but not for the others. I'm guessing it's too early or something. Are you on the roll call?

We are on the same cruise - come over and join the Roll Call!

Looking at the Tortola board there are plenty of things to do.

We are in a Family Oceanview with Large Picture Window on deck 14.

These are forward facing Ocean view in Cat. 02. If I click on the floor plan, it shows a couch near the picture window, I have never seen this before in an ocean view cabin.

Is is still in the rendering stage or is this a correct configuration? I know it is a lot of supposition but wondered if the CC Gurus had any knowledge.

Thanks in advance.

That's a great question, I don't know but I wish they would do a computer animated rendering of the whole ship's we can get an idea of what everything is going to look like. Either way I can tell this ship's going to be a lot of fun. All the shows seem awesome and the grotto is going to be really cool. February's offer was amazing so that adds a lot to it. I wish it was Novethat's when my sailing is lol ).

Could be the lack of a correct picture as it sounds like a regular Family Oceanview. The O2 cat. have a bed under/near the window on the ..Away class ships. There is a Google Doc about them somewhere, I expect them to be the same.

Booked an O2 for the Hamburg - Southampton leg but got a quiet upgrade to a balcony.

Hey, are you going to be on the TA Southampton to Miami after the wee H to S ferry crossing? ;)

We arrive in Southampton on 26 Oct and are planning on driving down to Lee-on-the-Solent to see Escape's sail by in the evening of the 27 Oct when she sails out on a one nighter CTN.

If we get up early enough on 27 Oct we might even drive down to the port to welcome ya all!

Heheh, only doing the quick ferry crossing to smell the fresh paint! The TA sounds great (perhaps a bit chilly :D ) but the 3day to GSC after Miami could make up for that! Enjoy!

@barnacle: did you see the Getaway next to Escape render with the difference in bridges?

You can see in the Escape rendering that she has ridiculously wide bridge windows. Although this isn't how she will be built, a keen eye will notice that Escape's bridge windows are indeed quite a bit wider than those on Breakaway and Getaway. Breakaway’s bridge has 14 windows between the cockpit protrusion and the edge of the wing, while Escape only has 11. As with going from a curved to straight layout, this change was also done to improve visibility. Fewer stanchions to block the view. The forward cockpit will also only have two vertical stanchions compared to the five on Breakaway.

Thank you to everyone that posted an answer. We moved to an angled balcony this morning, psyched to get one.

I booked this today at first on a comp I had for a balcony through CAS. Cost would have been $4120 and I would only get to pick one choice add on, as that didn't seem fair to me since I was paying for the upgrade, she looked at my tier discount as a 7*. This price was $3900 with the OBC, UBP and UDP. So I went with this. I am still on the fence on the Haven suite type, Spa, Haven Penthouse Suite, or Forward Facing Penthouse.

Do you think I would be able to change the Haven cabin choice after this Sat and still retain the Choice Plus?

I just booked the Escape 4 days ago for Dec 5th. ALL of the oceanview are sold out and zero connecting rooms are available. I did have a Family mini on deck 9 midship but moved up to a mid ship mini on deck 10. I am having a hard time trying to find the difference. I want a Pullman and a convertible bed . My active kids are not a good match for a upper berth. Anyone have any info on the minisuites?

If you lose your casino at sea card is there any way to get a replacement?
