luv2travel29 Posted March 31, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 31, 2014 Haven't cruised in a while but my son was always at the age where he could hang out and meet people in the clubs. I see on Breakaway there is only club for up to 17 yrs old.... Anyone know activities for 19 yr old where he can meet people etc... he is very outgoing and into sports so im assuming the sport deck ?? thank you ! We just got off the BA and our DD is only 15 so she could go to Entourage. I saw the older kids hanging around the adults only main pool listening to music. They would also be able to hang out in Spice H20 since they are over 18. There was also a lot of activity around O'Sheehans.

meatball_nyc Posted March 31, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 31, 2014 (edited) Going this summer with my son (18) and niece (14). We've cruised together a couple times. I think he will be playing basketball, doing the ropes course, going on all the slides, walking the Plank, playing mini golf, playing video games (maybe), sunbathing, swimming, checking out the girls in bikinis, go to some shows, parties at Spice H2O, going to dinner with us and sleeping! He works 7 days a week here at home, so he will be chilling out, too!! Happy Cruising! LrgPizza Posted March 31, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 31, 2014 You can sign permission for them to drink, and they can hang out in the bars throwing back beer.
Homecruiser Posted March 31, 2014 #6 Share Posted March 31, 2014 I signed for my 19 year old daughter and she was able to drink wine and beer on the cruise. No hard liquor and they cannot buy beer buckets...just one at a time. She is legal in Canada and there was no reason not to sign. She went to the SPA daily, sunned at H2O, many of the shows...lost a few dollars with me at the Casino and enjoyed all the meals at the specialty restaurants. She went to a few of the parties, watched the game shows and surprisingly sang a few songs at Kareoke (who knew). She did not look for people her age. She seemed happy to vacation with Mom. We are heading out April 24 for a 9 day cruise...just the 2 of us. Oh and she slept in a few days until noon!
