gwb3636 Posted April 4, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 4, 2014 Hope this helps anyone thinking of doing the Marriott - this is an email I received: - day passes are available and cost $35.00 US per person. - day passes include a complimentary drink of either soda or beer, use of resort facilities such as bars, restaurants, lounges, pool, and beach. - the passes can be purchased when you arrive at the hotel. - day rooms are available for up to 4 guests per room. - the cost is $125.00 US plus tax for the room for a total of $155.62, and includes all of the amenities in the day passes, plus access to the fitness center and business center, games, complimentary pool towels, pool chairs. - no pre-payment or reservations are required. - the hotel will not take reservations for a day room until you are at the hotel. - you will need to go to the front desk upon arrival to either purchase the day passes, or to obtain a day room. - the hotel does not have a shuttle from the port to the hotel - you will need to take a taxi which is $12.00 total for up to 4 people. - each additional person in the taxi would pay $3.00 per person. For example, if you have 5 people riding in the cab, the cost would be $15.00. - you can purchase drinks, lunch, use the restaurant in the hotel, if you choose not to purchase a day pass or a day room. - the hotel's beach and all beaches in the Caribbean are considered public. - there may be some beaches that will ask for I.D. - without a day pass or a day room, you will not be able to use any of the hotel equipment, cannot use the pool, and will not receive complimentary towels and chairs. - you can walk into the resort. - however, you may be stopped by security to present I.D. for security reasons. More information regarding this hotel's facilities and services may be found at the webpage below: http://www.marriott.com/skbrb You may wish to contact an associate at the hotel for further details. canadarocks Posted April 6, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2014 (edited) Thanks for the info, which is different than what I had read before on CC. I thought at the Marriott you could use the pool with a daypass. They must have changed their policy. Edited April 6, 2014 by canadarocks

Cinderose Posted May 4, 2014 #9 Share Posted May 4, 2014 Is this resort All-Inclusive?
paul58 Posted May 5, 2014 #10 Share Posted May 5, 2014 No it is not. I am not aware of any "true" all-inclusive places in St Kitts. You may purchase a meal plan if staying at several of the places.
