Radiance OTS Cabin 8102

Has anyone sailed Radiance of the Seas (or any of the radiance class) in cabin 8102? On the deck plans the balcony looks huge, is it really that big? Any noise from the elevators or from the centrum? Thanks in advance for any responses.

I can tell you, the balcony IS Huge. It is about 3 times as deep as other balconies. Instead of 2 chairs & a small round table, you get that PLUS 2 lounge chairs, and there is still room to walk around.

 

The location is ALSO the best. Very convenient to "run back to the room" to drop off stuff or change or whatever. There is actually a lot of room and a wall between the elevators and that cabin, so, no, there is no noise from the elevators.

 

Late at night, you may hear noise from the Centrum, but they close off those doors, so that helps.

We had this cabin on the Jewel. The balcony is great, one of the best we have ever had. I did find we heard quite a bit of noise from the centrum at night. We are not night owls so we were in our room by midnight each night and some nights it was still noisy. If you like us are not night owls the noise may bother you but if you can take a bit of noise the cabin is great. Since we have read other reviews and were aware of the noise issue we took ear plugs and had no issue. Would I stay in this room again yes!

Here a shot of the balcony for cabin 8088 on the front side of the hump and its balcony is the same size.

If I remember correctly it was of course huge but I do remember it being dark as it it mostly covered.

I am in cabin 7094 next year on the Jewel. Is this balcony similar to the picture posted?

Cool! We are in this cabin in March next year so I was pleased to see that it was as big as it looks on the ship layout diagrams.

You cannot see the front of the ship. It is right behind the hump of the elevators. It was fantastic, though!
