I lost 90lbs before this cruise. Weight Watchers works!!! I was worried that I would gain about 10lbs on this cruise, because I drank like a fish and ate whatever and whenever I wanted. I did NOT count points on vacation, but with all of the walking and climbing I did on this cruise, I actually lost 3.5lbs! WAIT...WHAT??? ♥ Happy Cruising!!!

What a great review...last year, we did the same tour w/ Nativeway in Grand Cayman AND the Courtney Taylor Blue Hole as well (different cruise though). Both were awesome. Thanks for posting. We just got off the Triumph on Thursday 4/17. Already looking for my next cruise, which will be #14 w/ Carnival...LOVE THEM!!!:D:D:D

I'm really upset they did the Repo of the Dream to N.O.

 

My last cruise was on her from port Canaveral and to date has been my favorite cruise out of the four I've been on.

 

Sadly if I want a Cove balcony room (which is my favorite) I have to make the trek down to Miami for the Breeze now.

 

We are leaving out of New Orleans in June on the Dream. We have a cove balcony. This is our first cruise and I'm super excited. Love that it leaves out of NO even though it is a 10 hour drive for us.

I wanted a Cove Balcony, but the price never decreased enough for me to justify the cost. :( Have fun!

Awesome review, one of the best that I have read. We are looking at doing the Dream in Oct 2015. Did your room sleep 4? We are looking at this for a family trip?

 

Look at the Sunshine in August. Midwest folks need to stick together. If seven days is too long take a look at the Victory with Grand Turks and Half Moon Cay. We did that last year and loved the ports.

Thanks so much! I believe our room slept 3. They do havea bunch of rooms on the ship that sleeps 4 though. The 2 bathrooms would be so nice for a family!

 

I am actually on the Carnival website right now and placed a cruise on the Sunshine in my favorites! There is also a 5 day on the Freedom leaving 09/1/14 that I'm eyeing! It goes to Half Moon Cay as well. Half Moon Cay & Grand Turk are two of my favorite ports too. :)

My boys are happy about Tandoor LOL. Can you tell me if there are any curry dishes at the buffet lunches or dinners? I am Irish/German but my DH is from Guayana, and my boys are real "curry mouths" ;0)

I tasted a chicken curry dish that was very good! I apologize, I don't remember if there were anymore. Everything I tasted was very good though. :)
