Problems with access on iPad

With our cruise just 6 days away I have been avidly reading up on Cruise Critic. However, for the last 3 days the App for the iPad and iPhone have not been loading recent threads. Is it just me or have others experienced similar problems?

Yes have had the same problem with the iPad app, tries clearing the cache and reloading but nothing, funny thing I can access the mobile site via Tapatalk HD but it's still not 100% as it loads very slowly.

Have you tried clearing it out of your already open apps? This will essentially close the session. Double click the bottom button on the phone and then swipe up to eliminate the "open" apps. I have to do that with a few like Weather.com too.

No it's not just you. Mine is the same. This thread for instance is not showing nor is anything later than 21/4.

not looked at ipad fro days.. but i did have trouble on ship in cabin. others did too. worked fine on deck 5.

Writing now from my iPad.......there was just an iOS 7.1 update maybe that will help??

It's definitely a problem with the App. I deleted and reinstalled and now it won't open at all!

Thanks for all the replies. Although I am sorry to hear some others have trouble too, I am relieved it is not just me!

 

I have downloaded the new update but it has made no difference. Only access to CC is on the laptop. :(

I'm just using a browser on my Android tablet. Doesn't an iPad have a browser? Do you have to use a dedicated app?

True....don't mess with CC apps. Just bookmark your favorite CC threads on Safari. It works well.

I only use this Iphone on the ships and it worked seamlessly on Journey, in the cabin. It is working on Oceania Regatta now, also in our cabin. This is with the CC app, but before that I used Safari to reach the full site.
