Need advice on an upgrade

I am sailing on the Epic in a couple of weeks and I could upgrade from my BD cabin to a MA for $600 total (for 3 people).

 

Both cabins are on deck 12 and would be going from forward port to rear starboard.

 

Is the $600 a good investment since we have 3 people in the cabin even though this is a port intensive cruise.

 

Help me make up my mind.:)

On this cruise 2 yrs ago, we were literally in the room to sleep & shower. Period. We passed out from exhaustion at night so size of the room didn't matter one bit. The three of us never even noticed space was a little tight. Use the $600 on something else.

You'd only be gaining about 30sqft. At that price I wouldn't bother.

Mini-suites are just deluxe balconies... this is not worth the extra coinage. I would reject that offer.

 

If you get an offer to go up to a penthouse, then that would make more sense since you are getting suite perks at that point...

We got an upgrade on Epic to a minisuite and wouldn't have done that if it cost more.

 

Save your money.

I believe that is the correct choice... cabin not that much bigger, and there is alot you can do with $600-

I would use that $600 to go toward booking another cruise before I would "upgrade" to another category. I believe you've made the correct decision. Good job. =)
