Meatman1 Posted June 8, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 8, 2014 We will be traveling on the Caribbean Princess on Nov 20th of this year and I was wondering if the pool water is cold or not. And is it fresh or salt water in the pools? Thanks for any reply.
Aquahound Posted June 8, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 8, 2014 I was just on the Caribbean Princess last month and although it was in the mid 80s outside in the Bahamas, the pool temps were frigid. Of course, when I say frigid, I say it relatively. I'd guess the pool temps were in the upper 70s.
MSN-Travelers Posted June 8, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 8, 2014 Fresh water pools. How pool temps "feel" is often relative air temp.
cb at sea Posted June 9, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 9, 2014 (edited) If it's 95 on the pool deck, a 74 degree pool will be refreshing. It's filtered sea water....the sun will warm it during the day. If it's a cool day, the pool will feel freezing! I only get in if I'm too hot...so a cooler pool works for me!
