Beware of Viking

This will be my final post on this thread. I send an email to Viking yesterday afternoon and asked them to contact me by phone this morning. At the time I had requested a Viking rep called and I asked if she had read my email. She replied she had and she was authorized to arrange a settlement with me. After a nice conversation we reached an agreement. By terms of the agreement all I can say is "that this matter has been amicably resolved".

 

We are happy with the way Viking handled our dispute.

 

To everyone who understood and supported us, a warm Thank You. For those who disagreed with us, you have a right to your opinion.

 

I will continue to be an active member of CC so you will see me posting again but not on this issue.

 

Have a great next cruise.

I'm glad it worked out for you wwinfl91. I hope you won't give up on river cruising altogether despite this experience. Try another river, try another cruise line -- but don't give up on river cruising!
