just4steven Posted August 7, 2014 #6 Share Posted August 7, 2014 Great poem and great losses! :) My weigh in time is about an hour away when I get home, lol, I won't comment yet, but I know how my eating habits were this week so we shall see shortly! :o
just4steven Posted August 7, 2014 #7 Share Posted August 7, 2014 Ok, gain of .8 lbs, my first weekly gain in 7 weeks, but at least I was expecting it. About exactly 195 now. FYI note to self and possibly others: I switched up my little "cheat snack" routine this week. I normally go with mini chocolate bars for when I'm craving something and those have worked well. This week the grocery store had a BOGO sale on these fresh, super soft and moist, both m&m and suger, very delicious, cookie boxes!!! I figured there wouldn't be a problem, but I noticed about 4 or 5 days ago I was really scarfing them down way more than I do the mini chocolate bars! They were oh so tasty, but I am so glad there are only 3 cookies left as I am NOT buying them again. Honestly, after my pig out on them last night and knowing how it takes a while for your body to adjust to weight, I might have a rough weigh in next week. About to go to the store for some shopping and I am NOT going near the cookies! Oh, and note part 2, I also had chinese twice this week! Gosh, almost forgot about that and I'm sure it didn't help, lol......... Lesson learned and need to get started mentally now for this week as I'm going to have to push it hard :) And don't worry about little cheat snacks, just stay away from them extra yummy super high sugar and butter filled cookies!!! Dancin85 Posted August 8, 2014 #8 Share Posted August 8, 2014 I had my monthly appointment with the Doc today. In 30 days, I've lost 12.5 pounds. 6.5 lbs.fat 4 lbs. water 2 lbs of muscle (which isn't good) For the next 30 days, I am supposed to eat more protein and up my exercise. 12.5 of the 40 lbs I gained while sick. :) Good going, good luck, hang in there, and have a great weekend. roysue Posted August 9, 2014 #10 Share Posted August 9, 2014 I am a Thursday weigh in girl too. So far I have just been lurking your posts but getting great inspiration. I hope you don't mind if I "join". Lost 1.5 this week. After being on prednisone, I struggled with small, undeserved gains the previous 2 weeks so I was relieved to have a nice loss. I had slacked off on tracking and have gone back to it using e-tools. It is keeping me more focused. Ate out tonight and skipped all bread - yea for me. Hope you all have a terrific weekend! shootr Posted August 9, 2014 #12 Share Posted August 9, 2014 This TopGolf driving range is addictive as heck! Kids had a ball. So between that, an early morning yard work effort, and just getting out of the pool - one of my better exercise days.
