Perhaps the change in funnel colour also stops anyone thinking a P&O ship is a Costa ship as they also have the yellow funnel.

 

I'm looking forward to seeing all the changes when I go for Christmas.

I can't find a reference anywhere that says Aurora will still have a casino after the refit. I know they are changing the champions/casino area into a 'Brodies concept' area plus some single cabins but there is no information that that casino, even in an abbreviated form, will be retained. :confused::confused:

 

If there is no casino, my 2016 world cruise segment will be a non starter.

With bookings opening next week i have no intention of forking out nearly £1000 in deposit only to find that there is no casino and P&O of course will say it is not a valid reason for a refund.

 

The same applies to Arcadia which is also in the far east in 2016. she is due a refir next year but no details.

 

the P&O site is worse than useless. If you check out the 2015/16 deck plans the public areas are the same old ones that exist now.

P&O might install a 'slot machine' in every cabin, during refit mate, or even a few in the Buffet/MDR. LOL. Do they still call the slots 'fruit machines in UK? We call them poker machines, or pokies or one armed bandits here in OZ.

I'm sure it still shows the Casino on the. Deck plans of the 2016 World Cruise brochure. I had the online version but still not had a hard copy. The one I saw showed Aurora with all the changes in place. I didn't know about extra single cabins though, where are they being put?

For sure there will be a casino on Aurora after refit. Carnival Corp's greatest revenue producer on their huge fleet of ships under varying labels is the CASINO. Like a one way ATM.

New plans are showing casino is next to champions on prom deck. Library is repositioned next to crows nest where the cyber room was and sindhu is now where library was.

Ah! the deck plans for 2015/16 on the web site have not been modified but those on the brochure download have. there is still a casino marked but no single cabins. I presume the casino will be downsized like the other ships.
