Security when swimming on islands

Never travelled to South Pacific Islands before and really looking forward to it. Just a little anxious about carrying seapass/cash etc on the beach. Has anyone experienced problems while swimming/snorkelling?

Thanks for your info. If my wife and I want to take photos, looks like we would have to swim separately.

We put our cameras in the same waterproof pouch as the rest lol.... Just see what is out there and you may find something that works (:

You don't have to swim separately - here's what we use. Purchase on Amazon. It's 5" x 6" so plenty of room for everything - get one for each of you. You might also look into a water resistant camera - they're now pretty inexpensive and take reasonable pictures, are waterproof to at least 10 feet or so.

the smaller is credit card sized ... I can stuff in 2 sea pass, 2 picture ID, a credit card and a few bills ....

all these are 'waterpoof' btw . . .

tie off the lanyard and stuff it down the swim suit . . .

the larger one is 'pack of cigs' size for when we need more money . . .

I've never worried about my sea pass at the beach...no one can use it to reboard the ship, except you...your photo is attached. If you're worried, put it in the velcroed pocket of your swim trunks. It's plastic....water won't hurt it, or your credit card, or even, cash!
