Hi,

We're booked on 4 day Sensation cruise sailing Sept 21, and Looking forward to the KANSAS concert in Nassau on Sept 23.

Just wondering... if after buying a general admission ticket, is there the opportunity to upgrade if the VIP tickets are not sold out?

Of course, it would be great if they did that without charge, as a Platinum perk:)

BTW: Check out the price for this cruise..

$109 pp for an inside, that's $27per day base price!!

Thanks!

Mike

I'm sure that you can pay to upgrade to the VIP package, but if I ever purchase the VIP package and then find out that they either gave them away or heavily discounted them I would be more than a little upset.

Having said that. I would never pay to go to and old has been concert anyway. And certainly not on a ship, I don't even bother going to see them when they are playing at the various casino's here in Oklahoma.

To each their own. $20 is a great price for a show, it runs 75-90 minutes which is about what a usual set runs. The boat is docked while they play and they apparently bring on their own sound equipment.

I'd love to upgrade my tickets to see Styx. Would love to hear an answer for this.

We're booked on the Fascination and have tickets to see Kansas on the 24th. I know that they have given out VIP tickets to Platinum members when the concerts weren't sold out in the very beginning as a way to advertise the concerts. I also know that others have changed their minds and upgraded onboard if they weren't already sold out (like Lady Antebellum is sold out way in advance). I'm sure you will have no problem at all upgrading to a VIP seat. Have a great time!

I would be interested to know if Platinum and FTTF are included in the seating of these concerts??? Do they let FTTF go to the front of the line or have a separate line for them?

I believe no matter what, VIP get the closest seats. Then it's general seating for everyone else, no matter their card color.

I agree about the concert VIP's having the front seats as they paid extra for them;) I'm diamond and didn't have a problem standing in line as they opened the doors to the showroom one hour and twenty min prior the the concert starting. Next time I'll buy the VIP ticket and go down front just prior to the show. .38 Special put on a great show. Note the DJ on the first day onboard was asking guestions about the band. I got two FREE passes by ansewering 1974 when the band was formed:D Pink

We must have been on the same Fantasy cruise this past week!

Yes, only VIP tickets get the preferential seating. I'm Platinum and was sitting in the rafters for the 38 Special concert...but, it was still great. In retrospect, I wish I had bought the VIP tickets as well. I expected a good concert, but 38 Special OVER-delivered in my opinion...definitely the highlight of the cruise for me!

Three more days until my Styx concert cruise on the Inspiration I've got VIP TICKETS! It's also elegant night, so I'm hoping I can eat and still make it to the M&G on time (I have YTD)

The ship is docked for the concert... I thought elegant nights were on sea days?
