activities on board for shore days

hi, what type of activities do they offer on the glory for those of us who stay on ship when it comes into a new port? thanks so much for the input. also are there any day time show going on then?

They generally don't plan activities for when the ship is in port. With so many guests ashore, the ship is pretty quiet. They may offer specials in the spa, and they keep all of the pools and lot of the bars open. Casino will be closed. I do not recall ever seeing a show scheduled for while in port with the exception of bringing special talent on board from the port on a couple of occassions when we were there late in the evening.

About the only scheduled entertainment you will find is trivia.

Last cruise (Legend) we stayed onboard for the first time when we were in Belize.

There were several trivia games and a scavenger hunt. But the best thing we did was the martini tasting. (it is offered every day at specified times/ designated bar.). It was a BLAST! Since DH and I were both tasting, and each person gets to try 4 of the 8, we got the whole line. I believe it was $17 PP.

So much tasty fun! :D

I've seen games like giant Jenga and some trivia games.

The spa is open and all the pool bars. We stayed on the ship during Belize as well. Laid out by the pool. Plenty of chairs and quick wait staff.
