Yesterday we took the free shuttle bus to Chinatown in Kobe. From there we walked about half an hour to Sorakuen Park, a beautiful example of a Japanese Garden.

The Monorail is right at the port for easy access to the Japanese rail system.

At sail away a band from Kobe played as we departed:

We are taking this cruise next year and really appreciate all the information. Can anyone tell me the time of the shows on Wednesday and Thursday night. We are on select dining and want to get an idea of the show times. Thank you.

I'll try and post a few more dailies tomorrow. Shows are generally at 7 and 9 but on some formal nights 8:30 and 10:30.

We have a sea day to catch up after several days of activity. The sites of interest on this cruise are all near the ship or easily accessible with public transportation.

Celebrity Today for the last few days:

Arno,

Great review :).

Just wondered, for future reference, has the food onboard been traditional Celebrity fare or is it more geared to the Asian market? Thank you :o.

Thank you.

The Menu is Standard Celebrity but there is an Asian Salad and Entree available each evening upon request.

Shanghai immigration processing was an ordeal yesterday with many waiting in line up to three hours. When we finally got through after 11 there was a long waiting line for taxis which were in short supply.

I can't post any images today because adobe needs updating and the download is taking forever... seemingly so. Onboard internet has frequent interruptions that requires logging out and back in again.

Shanghai with a population of over 24 million has a spectacular skyline.

The day started off cool and blustery but by the time the taxi dropped us off ($15 for a 45 minute ride!!) the skies were clearing and pictures turned out much better than expected.

We arrived in Okinawa just after 7 am this morning.

We have been warned of potentially slow lines as we leave Millennium. Passengers are having their temperature taken as well as having every bag checked for food products that can not be taken ashore.

Departure is set for 3:30 pm followed by formal night.
