Floridiana Posted October 20, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 20, 2014 I looked at a few balcony staterooms on newer NCL ships. Is it really true that there is no separate washroom? It looked like there was a toilet with door on one side. A separate shower with door on the other side. And a sink in the cabin in view of the bed. Did I really miss the door that separates the entire set-up from the bedroom?
Nalagh Posted October 20, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 20, 2014 In the picture below you can see the bathroom door open in the Breakaway B4 baclony cabin.
Mikkar Posted October 20, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 20, 2014 That sounds like the bathroom on the Epic. The Breakaway and Getaway have everything in one room with a door.

Rare All-ready2cruise Posted October 20, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 20, 2014 (edited) what is the difference between a balcony room vs a mid ship mini suite balcony?? is the only difference the bathroom??? No, while some bathrooms have a bathtub instead of just a shower, the room itself is usually a bit bigger. And just to clarify, the Epic and the Breakaway/Getaway/Escape are 2 different class ships. The Epic, while being the first "mega" ship in the NCL fleet is the only one of it's class and the other new ships are, I think, Breakaway or Breakaway Plus class ships. Snowrose Posted October 21, 2014 #8 Share Posted October 21, 2014 No, while some bathrooms have a bathtub instead of just a shower, the room itself is usually a bit bigger. The regular balconies are big enough for a small loveseat beside the balcony door. The mini suites are about 1 to 2 feet longer and fit a small couch, instead of a loveseat.
