Rare Scrapnana Posted October 27, 2014 #126 Share Posted October 27, 2014 Embarkation and Sail-Away are my favorite parts of a cruise. Yes, you have the whole cruise stretching out in front of you. The gentle motion of the water and the smell of the sea. Nothing better!

Rare Scrapnana Posted October 27, 2014 #130 Share Posted October 27, 2014 Bath robes. Mmm ... Maybe it is a cruise ritual for them??? Personally, I don't understand the "get on board, undress and put on a bathrobe" idea. But then I like to be on an open deck, aft, to watch a sailaway (and I am NOT doing that in a bathrobe:eek:). I giggled when I saw them too! I think there was another thread talking about that! Personally, I think they are using the robes to cover their swim suits.... Looked like someone asked them to take their pictures for them! aliaschief Posted October 27, 2014 Author #136 Share Posted October 27, 2014 Infinity has a long way to back up. She does a lot better job than I do backing out of our driveway!

Mumsysailor Posted October 27, 2014 #139 Share Posted October 27, 2014 Oo. I'm surprised they let that yacht pass aft of the Infinity.
PathfinderEss Posted October 27, 2014 #140 Share Posted October 27, 2014 I heard them but the condo noise does not sound as loud as in the past. I think POA said not everyone would be back until November, so maybe a smaller contingency right now.

aliaschief Posted October 27, 2014 Author #145 Share Posted October 27, 2014 (edited) Thanks Chief, the same for us: Pacific Standard Time. Which means we will be dealing with very dark Sail-Away if the ship is late.:( But great sunsets. Edited October 27, 2014 by aliaschief
Rare Scrapnana Posted October 27, 2014 #146 Share Posted October 27, 2014 Thanks. Was wondering because of our 2016 trip. I did a Baltic cruise on Constellation (also Millenium class). The Millenium class ships are about the same size as QE and, just like on QE, I never felt crowded. It was easy to get from point A to point B. Cabins may be a tad smaller than QE but not by much. No toots from Infinity - boring. :(
