buying booze through Bon Voyage

OK so I know that it is ridiculously overpriced and we don't plan on buying much anyway but how many bottles can you order for your cabin. We were going to do cheers but since the price went up that is a no go :mad:

The most I've ordered from Bon Voyage was 2, but if you run out you can order bottles from room service for the same price.

We start out with a few bottles. plus beer and order more as needed. Usually bring our own mix on board. no limit as far as i know

Through Bon Voyage they have only let me order 2 bottles, but as others have said, you can get more through room service.

This is great news...we will bring mixers along with buying bottomless bubbles and I think we will be ok. I just truly believe that this would be a cheaper option for us rather than buying cheers. I just do not think that we can drink that much everyday and be able to function without some major stomach upset :rolleyes:

2 through Bon Voyage, but try again a day later & you can order another.:D We usually get a bottle each & come back a day or 2 later to order a bottle of Baileys for coffee in the morning.

I ordered yesterday and was told the rules have changed effective the beginning of October. 2 alcohol purchases per room, weather it is liquor, wine or beer. In the past i could order 2 liquor and all the wine I cared to purchase. Not now. However, I was told you can order additional thru room service later in the week, but the gratuity is added thru room service. Lesson - save the least expensive items to order onboard.

We bought beer last time. The price is pretty much the same as bar prices. The fridges will not get the beer very cold. I would recommend not buying beer from Bon voyage.

My wife bought a beer/cooler package for me a few cruises ago, and I would simply walk to a bar with an unopened beer and ask to trade for a cold one. Never had an issue. :D:D
