Anytime dining

Not hard, but times can be unpredictable. Never head to the dining room precisely when you want to eat, as you may have to wait. Prepare to have a cocktail or glass of wine while you kill some time and you will be fine. And as pointed out above, tables for two are placed side by side with barely enough room for a salt shaker to fall between the cracks. So what they set up as 3 tables for two looks more like a table for 6. But you order separately and are served separately so it isn't really the same as group dining.

any trouble grtting a table for 2 in any of the dining venues on the Regal Princess , not anti social by any means but we do prefer to dine by ourselves.

Not a problem for us on its sister ship the Royal. You can get a table for two in every dining venue. The main dining rooms on the Royal have many more tables for two than on the other Princess ships. The spacing is much better also.

We generally do Anytime dining and in past cruises, we shared tables with others. On our Royal cruise, we went to the anytime dining room on deck 5 around 6 pm and requested a table for 2. We did not have to wait. We dined in other venues as well and always sat at a table for two.:D
