Which island is best to buy a new wedding ring?

Having expierence selling jewelry, I agree with most post here. Buy at home where you will have some control if it does not work out. I had to prove that to my wife who wanted to buy a ring in Cosumel. When we got back home I took her to a reputable jewlery and the same ring was 1/2 the price.

Does anyone buy on the ship during these trips?

 

You will certainly find some takers. But at the risk of getting flamed, most purchasers of fine jewelry and/or watches do better elsewhere. We do sometimes find the lower cost shop offerings enticing, but the stuff falls more into the category of junk jewelry that is nice to own.
