Which island is best to buy a new wedding ring?

Having expierence selling jewelry, I agree with most post here. Buy at home where you will have some control if it does not work out. I had to prove that to my wife who wanted to buy a ring in Cosumel. When we got back home I took her to a reputable jewlery and the same ring was 1/2 the price.

You will certainly find some takers. But at the risk of getting flamed, most purchasers of fine jewelry and/or watches do better elsewhere. We do sometimes find the lower cost shop offerings enticing, but the stuff falls more into the category of junk jewelry that is nice to own.

Nope. We find that when it comes to jewelry, ship prices are high prices.

 

The indicated discounts are high, the appraisals are high, and the actual sale prices are high.

I would also make this purchase at home, this way is there is an issue post cruise you wont have far to travel.

 

Also, you can price shop in your own neighborhood.

If you live anywhere near New York: Manhattan. While a combined souvenir/symbol of commitment is a tempting idea, you will probably do better closer to home.
