Atlantis excursions question

We are booked for spring break to Nassau with 10 people, kids and adults. The kids want to do the atlantis aquaventure and the adults want to do the atlantis beach. The problem is the aquaventure departs at 9:30 and the beach day departs at 10:30. We do not want to pay the full $180 for the waterpark for everyone just to go together. Only 4 kids from our group want to do the waterpark. I called carnival and they said they had non-participant tickets but that did not include beach and we would have to email the shore excursion supervisor regarding these tickets. Has anyone had this situation and how did you handle it?

Don't know about this type of non-participant ticket (never heard of it), but I do know that young kids are not allowed in the park without parental supervision. (i wouldn't let my pre teen wander around anyway).

Check if this is even allowed before making a purchase if you have young kids. Also you must be 48in tall to go on most of the slides.

Check out renting a room at the Comfort Suites that is adjacent to Atlantis. It gives you full access to the beach and waterpark. I believe that you can have up to 5 per room. We just booked a room for four of us and it was $360 inc. taxes and fees for the day. You can get your wristbands starting at 7am and the room will be ready later. Cab ride is about $20 each way.

Comfort Suites allows only 4 to a room, which would mean they would need 3 rooms.

Wristbands are available from 8:30am - pools open at 9am/ slides open at 10am.

Cab is $4 per person.

You say cab is $4 per person, but rusualbeach says it is $20? Why is there such a difference in price?

We want to go to Atlantis just to walk around and go to the Casino and Marina Village. Read that that is free to go to and there is a water taxi right next to the port? Anyone know the cost of the water taxi?

I believe that poster meant total cost for his party. Water taxi is also $4 pp, I believe, but you will have s longer walk to Atlantis.

Where do you catch the water taxi and where does it drop you? We want to go to Cabbage beach, would a regular taxi be better?

How big is the water taxi? I'm thinking 20 or 30 people, so you have to wait for it to fill up?

Thanks

Tony and Debbie
