Hotel near Miami airport

Flying into Miami after midnight.

Need reasonable $$ hotel for a few hours b/4 going on cruise.

Anyone have a recommendation of something deceit.

Would like to stay around $125 plus taxes

$125 will depend upon when you cruise.

 

Arriving that late I would look at some of the budget options often suggested -- La Quinta East, Springhill Suites Medical Center, Comfort Suites North and maybe the Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon. You may need to cab from the airport - I doubt many (any?) will run the airport shuttle 24/7. Some of these offer packages including shuttle to POM.

You are looking at $200 to stay in a place where you will not get robbed at gunpoint.

 

You are booking at a peak date in peak season.

 

The airport is not an area where you should even consider a cheap hotel. Ever.

We always stay at Hyatt Place Airport. Nice hotel with breakfast and a few restaurants nearby, The Italian place is a favorite of ours.

Your reply about the neiborhood caught mt attention. Beet to Miami several times but always stayed down town at Hyatt

Our plane don't get in till 1230. What do think about embassey suites Miami airport. We can take taxi straight to the hotel. I doubt if the hotel will have shuttle running that late at night.

I looked on Internet price is $160 arpp discount plus of the othe add on taxes.

Any comments.

Hate to spend the extra money. But safety is first priority.

ES is fine and you'll enjoy the breakfast in the morning before heading to the port. It is somewhat isolated - no place close by for last minute cruise supplies.

I have reserved the Courtyard for November. Original rate was $109 but I changed it to $129 to include breakfast and ride to port.
