Sherry H Posted January 27, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2015 I have so enjoyed using the Hydro Pool. Have paid $199 per couple on our 13 day cruise. Just paid $249 for our 10 day cruise. Can anyone share what they have paid for a 30 day cruise? Thanks
InTheWASide Posted January 27, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2015 Never had the chance to go for 30 days but I know the rates partially depend on the class of ship. Call and ask Ship Services and they can give you a precise answer
Ricktan Posted January 27, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 27, 2015 Is is less expensive if you wait to book it once on board vs pre-paying ahead of time? Do they offer an"special" rate once on board?

Do they offer an"special" rate once on board? Usually the only special onboard will be if you just want to do a day or two mid-cruise... The "couple's discount" where you save a bit vs 2 individual passes would be offered through Ship Services
freestyling Posted January 27, 2015 #5 Share Posted January 27, 2015 A special rate is offered on the 1st day ($40.00 off) Just go to the Spa and there will be a sign-up available. The Thermal suites are usually capped at 25-30 couples.
Ricktan Posted January 27, 2015 #6 Share Posted January 27, 2015 Thank you!!! I may just go ahead and book the couples rate so that I don't have to be concerned about missing out! Thanks for the info!
DaveOKC Posted January 27, 2015 #7 Share Posted January 27, 2015 Usually the rates are cheaper onboard the first day. The R and S class ships are usually lower priced since they only have a very small hydro pool - more like a hot tub. DaveOKC

Sherry H Posted January 28, 2015 Author #10 Share Posted January 28, 2015 Going to "bump" this up as I am still hoping to catch the eye of someone who has done the Hydro Pool on a 30 day cruise.
Hflors Posted January 28, 2015 #11 Share Posted January 28, 2015 Going to "bump" this up as I am still hoping to catch the eye of someone who has done the Hydro Pool on a 30 day cruise. I just got off the phone with ship's services and they told me the price for the hydro pool for 30 days will be $899 for two. I asked how much for one and she said about $499 range. That seems a bit steep for me. Hope this helps (it did me)
Sherry H Posted January 28, 2015 Author #12 Share Posted January 28, 2015 I was quoted MUCH higher by ship services than I ended up paying first day on board. Hope that happens with our 30 day.

That happens mostly every time. If you do book before the cruise and pay the higher price, the difference is refunded to your onboard account if the price is lower when you board. Sherry H Posted January 29, 2015 Author #15 Share Posted January 29, 2015 Oh boy.........I hate to give wrong info. What I for sure remember is the quote was higher than I wanted to pay (seems I remember $499) but was considerably less on board. This was our 13 day........$199 per couple cruise.
