Southampton 2016

Recommended Posts

The rumours are of a Voyager class (poss Navigator) and a Freedom class (poss Indy). I hope that Indy doesn't come back. Given that she only left in November, I would really like a different ship in port. That being said, I'm not keen on Quantum class but would love an Oasis class. Shouldn't be too long before we find out :)

Regardless of the ship, I just wish the prices would be lower!

With Navigator and INDY booked at the ports of Funchal, Gibraltar, Palma, Barcelona, Riviera Ports, Tenerife and La Coruna among others, I would not classify their deployment quite as a rumour, but it is true that these ships official deployments will not be released until the 16th of March.

Now, any Ovation of the Seas deployment to Southampton is only rumoured as there is no evidence out there that really supports this claim that I have seen.

The press release regarding RCI's 2016/17 caribbean deployment states that both Navigator and Independence otS are only doing WINTER CARIBBEAN cruises in 2016/17.

That implies that both ships are deployed elsewhere between May and October.

IMHO most likely are Indy and Navi from Southampton - but Ovation and Indy are also possible, and Navigator sailing from Harwich.

Ovation surely does Europe in 2016, since she is not expected to sail Caribbean in winter 2016/17.

I know it's unlikely but I would like to see an Oasis class ship to sail out of Southampton in the summer of 2016.

What I wouldn't like to see is the independence of the seas back... as much as I love that ship I was getting fed up of her.

Navigator starts with a 8 night Norwegian Fjord sailing on the 29 May.

She then does a 10 night Canary Island sailing...

followed by two 12 night Scandinavia / Russia sailing

and then two 14 night MED cruises

followed by a couple 7 night Spain sailings

another 14 night MED sailing

a 13 night MED sailing

a 14 night Canary Island sailing

a 7 and a 6 night Spain Western Europe short sailing

and then a final 13 night Canary Island sailing.

Just got an email from RCCL: Harmony will sail the Med from Barcelona in 2016
