Lsimon Posted December 12, 2007 #1304 Share Posted December 12, 2007 Boy I have a lot of favorites - here is just one I've been enjoying lately: Captain Jonathan aboard the Swaliga during the Fan-Ta-Sea Catamaran excursion from the Celebrity Galaxy in St. Kitts - Island and ship in background. here is a picture of us on an excursion in Maui - with the Summit in the background. Santorini (with Celebrity Millennium in the background) is probably one the most photogenic ports we've ever been to. I have a bunch of great pictures on my cruise photo site - click above or on the link below my photo.

angeljt Posted December 28, 2007 #1320 Share Posted December 28, 2007 Great pictures everyone! DH surprised me with a new EOS Canon Rebel XTi 400D for Christmas. I don't know if I'll live long enough to use or learn how to use all of the features. Does anyone have an opinion on this camera? I am thinking of returning it for something else, but I haven't done a lot of research yet. I was checking out the D40 that Bryan and Dave had mentioned, but I wasn't expecting to get one this soon. Thanks, Jackie

Thanks, Jackie Jackie, This is not a joke...I am serious when I say that if you don't understand all the features by the time you sail, just put it on "P" full auto and shoot away! Modern DSLRs like the XTi are miracles of technology and 80%-90% of the time, they will choose the right setting for you. The ones that don't turn out can be posted here and all of your photo board friends can tell you what to do to prevent the problems in the future.;) Don't worry, shoot happy!
