New Coastal Kitchen Menu

Just got off the Oasis yesterday and this is a new menu that began in the middle of the week. We did not get a chance to try it, but it looks even better than the first one.

Is this in addition to the first menu (i.e. switching from the 1st menu to the 2nd mid-week), or is it completely replacing the other one?

When you had lunch at the Coastal Kitchen was wine and beer complimentary?

I am still trying to figure out how to upload a bigger photo...

 

The manager indicated that there would be two different menus. One for the first half and one for the second.

We did not eat lunch there, but they were serving complimentary drinks in the lounge during the day, at least the times we were in there.

We were also able to take our drinks out of the lounge so it was perfect right before we left for dinner.

 

Breakfast was very good.

 

There was a future sales person in the lounge several times.

Also, they had removed all the blue notebooks out of the staterooms and one of the concierges were placing new items in them. So, maybe it will be about the new suite amenities. I was hoping it would be put back in our suite before our last day, but it was not.

 

BTW, we stayed in 11330 and loved it. Although I prefer the larger bathrooms in the original GS, it certainly did not affect our cruise. It is a long walk to get anywhere, but I only look at that as needed exercise.

We have 11330 booked for September. Is he suite lounge/coastal kitchen in the acessed by the aft elevators?

We just got off on Saturday, also. The new menu is very good. Both were very good. We were told also they will alternate between the first of the week and the last of the week. Both contain several of the most popular items so there are duplicates on both menus. Breakfast was just OK as far as I was concerned. There was no bar service for breakfast or lunch. Free cocktails were only for a couple of hours in the afternoon. We went up around 6:00 - 6:30 and stayed until 7:30 or so. Never had a problem finding a table.

Yes, the suite lounge is accessed by the aft elevators.

It was hard enough before to figure out how to pre-book with set menus, but if the choices change, then how do you decide?
