vmt514 Posted April 8, 2015 #326 Share Posted April 8, 2015 No you didn't miss anything I don't get off the ship in Jamaica. I don't particularly care for Jamaica so I always use that port day as a stay on the ship day. For Grand Cayman you definitely need to go to Stingray City. It is amazing.....we have been there 5 times. The first two visits we went with Moby Dick tours and the last three times were with MarineLand tours. I highly recommend them. You can book their excursion through the cruise line. It is called the "Deluxe Stingray City" tour. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Thank you for the information. I will definitely look into those tours. Again, love the review!
SondraC Posted April 8, 2015 #327 Share Posted April 8, 2015 Hey Brianna!! Not sure if you remember me from our Pride cruise Last July...wanted to say hi! I will be on Breeze again (sailed 12 nts Mediterranean July '12) next month! Enjoying your review. Please give my best to your dad, he's in my prayers. Loved spending time chatting with him last summer.
SondraC Posted April 8, 2015 #328 Share Posted April 8, 2015 Brianna, I just wanted you to know that reading your reviews is what gave me the courage to go on my first cruise. Please feel free to add me as a friend and I will tell you more detail as to my fears and why I was so hesitant. My first cruise was on the Ecstasy - your review of that ship is what helped me make the choice of the ship. I had never been on a cruise, and I decided to go alone. I had the time of my life and thinking of your reviews and how much fun you had is what helped me decide to come out of my shell when I was on the cruise and allow myself to have fun and meet new people. Honestly Carnival should pay you for your reviews. I have visited many reviews but yours keeps everyone engaged and somehow doesnt start a frenzy of arguments and negativity from those out there who just seem to want to start trouble. Thank you!! I will be on the same sailing as you! If you want to meet up let me know :-)
wrigley80 Posted April 8, 2015 Author #329 Share Posted April 8, 2015 Thanks for the info! Can't wait to try it! You're Welcome. I had a little sip the other day ;) it is very good. I am taking our bottle to Nashville when we go at the end of the month to see friends Thank you for the information. I will definitely look into those tours. Again, love the review! Thank You so much. There are a lot of other tour operators that go to Stingray City in Grand Cayman. Those are just the two that I have went with in the past. wrigley80 Posted April 8, 2015 Author #331 Share Posted April 8, 2015 I love this picture of the Breeze So once the bus driver got back to the port area he dropped us off. We paid him and we made our way through the port. Once we got to the port we realized that there was no reason to rush. The security line to check our cards and wait for a tender stretched from here back to HELL  I told Laura that there was no reason to stand in line. Just let the line go down and we will jump in so that's what we did. From the time that we got in line to the time of getting back on the ship was close to 45 minutes. We ran into Josh, Carmen, Stu, and Justin while waiting for a tender as well so we waited with them
wrigley80 Posted April 8, 2015 Author #332 Share Posted April 8, 2015 Our tender ride back to the ship. We were all the way in the back on the bottom deck so when we got back to the ship we were the last to get off the tender Bye Bye Grand Cayman.....until next time I was the last one from our group to get back to the ship
wrigley80 Posted April 8, 2015 Author #333 Share Posted April 8, 2015 (edited) So once I got back to the cabin I sat down on my bed and I wiped my face off. Laura immediately started laughing at me. Something at my expense was funny I guess :p My face got so sunburnt I had horrible raccoon eyes from my sunglasses So much for sunscreen  I got showered and cleaned up. I didn't want to go to the dining room tonight so Laura and I went to Guys Burgers for dinner. That was a nice feature in the evening. Guys Burgers were open from 6:30 to 9:30 every night. wrigley80 Posted April 8, 2015 Author #334 Share Posted April 8, 2015 Our view at dinner....the Celebrity Silhouette Laura and I walked up to Deck 11 to get some pics of another ship pulling out of Grand Cayman in front of us So after dinner and watching sail-away Laura and I headed down to the Ocean Plaza for the Superstar Live Karaoke (the one where people sing with the live band). We split some dessert after dinner
kelkel2 Posted April 8, 2015 #335 Share Posted April 8, 2015 Where did you get that delicious looking chocolate cake? Is that free? Part of the reason I eat in the MDR is because the desserts are way better than the buffet's desserts. But that looks amazing and I could pull myself away from the MDR for a piece of that!!...sad I know...
wrigley80 Posted April 8, 2015 Author #336 Share Posted April 8, 2015 (edited) One of the best activities in the evening is 1970's-1980's sing-a-long movie trivia with Matt in the Ocean Plaza. It is a very popular event. He had it 4 nights on the 6-day cruise. It was so much fun. Just like a regular music trivia would be except he amped it up. He would play 5-10 seconds of each song and if you knew you had to write the song down. Well of course during music trivia if you know the song you sing-a-long well this is where it gets interesting. If you continue to sing after the music stops.....Matt will come out into the audience and find you and bring you up onstage to be put in a timeout. Oh yeah that happened during "Dream On" by Aerosmith. I continued to sing and I was in my own little world  whoopsie There I am in time out with my head down :p And as you can see in this photo I was not alone....there were 3 other people in timeout. Being put in a timeout with Matt was fun.....haha. We definitely had some good laughs out of it Edited April 8, 2015 by wrigley80

wrigley80 Posted April 8, 2015 Author #347 Share Posted April 8, 2015 Once I got back to the cabin....this little guys was waiting for me That was my bed. The sofa bed was very comfy. Notice how much floor space we had after we moved the beds around.....it was wonderful. I will do this every cruise from now on when I am in balcony. You just get so much more floor space I decided to order some room service. I ordered my favorites......the chicken fajita and some chocolate chip cookies. So that is the end of Day #4 on the cruise. It is just starting to get good. Just wait until you see the kind of funny stuff we did in Cozumel on the Cozumel Bar Hop  :p

NightOne Posted April 8, 2015 #350 Share Posted April 8, 2015 I got showered and cleaned up. I didn't want to go to the dining room tonight so Laura and I went to Guys Burgers for dinner. That was a nice feature in the evening. Guys Burgers were open from 6:30 to 9:30 every night. For reasons that aren't important: I cannot eat mayonnaise. I thought I had heard that they automatically put mayo on the bun before toasting it. Is this true? Can you get your Guy's Burger without mayo on anything? If so, is that a special order? I know you are detail oriented which is why I am asking you. :) Thanks
