1st cruise in 2017. Going to Western Caribbean, not sure which islands yet. Do we need to know another language other than English for spending time in the ports?

 

How do you know you are going to the western caribbean??

 

 

No most ports on a cruise ship speak english . The further in the port you go then no, the language will be different then english

 

 

US $ is accepted at most all ports.

Because you said you did not even pick a ship yet. That is why i asked how do you know you are going to the western caribbean.

 

and as you see on Cruise Critic-- there is NEVER a bad question
