Orlando to Tampa?

If you are flying into MCO for a cruise from Tampa a one-way car rental is your best bet. I would not suggest flying into MCO and driving to Tampa the day of your cruise!

Drop the car near the port (Hertz, Avis, Enterprise) or at the TPA airport and taxi to the port. The drive from MCO to Tampa takes about 80-90+ minutes depending upon traffic.

On my last cruise, we drove from Tampa to Kennedy Space Center, and while Google directions suggested the route would take 2 hours, it ended up taking closer to 3 because of traffic around Orlando/DizzyWorld. I'd definitely give yourself plenty of extra time to clear Dizzy traffic.
